They keep calling me, then want me to verify my information, but will not tell me who they are. I'm not doing that. Then I get attitude from this guy.......they call me at least 3-4 times a day. I know I don't owe any debt.....I filled chapter 13 bankruptcy in 2010 and everything will be paid out this year.....I have had no credit to open an account since.
I wouldn't doubt you have FDCPA claims, but Truth In Caller ID was not written to address debt collectors and only the hundred percent fake collectors might do something which violates it. What Caller ID content are you questioning? This is a Washington area code. it's not necessarily fraud if a default name tag of "Washington" is sent as CNAM.
