They called and said I had been approved for a 9,000 dollar grant from the government but I had to pay a 210 dollar security deposit for the check???!!! WTH
My Caller I.D. recorded a missed call as "Duct Service". I was suspicious straight away, since I haven't contacted anyone regarding duct cleaning. After seeing the posts here about this company, I Googled the company using the name Evergreen Fresh Air.
It turns out that the Better Business Bureau (BBB) has investigated this company. The BBB closed the case, however, after being unable to locate the company, which the BBB shows as having the address of 918 S Horton ST #929, Seattle, WA 98134. The BBB also shows a website which is now non-existent: efaduct.com
Noting the BBB report showing them in Seattle as well as other complaints above showing them in Issaquah, it seems very clear to me that Evergreen Fresh Air aka EFA Duct Cleaning is a company to be avoided entirely. These types of scams are obviously run by people with no legal regard; the Do Not Call list is useless against such people.
They called me today again called several days ago saying thank you for being a customer in the past??? Oh really not so at all. Told him no but repeated his message. Told him what don't you understand no and remove our number. (Since we are on the no call list)
I have decided to answer, wait till they talk then blow a loud whistle in their ear. If that doesn't work I will schedule an appointment and when I'm asked for my address ill give them 918 s. Horton st.#929 Seattle,wa 98134 which is the address of this scam of a business.
Called about furnace work, said it was time for cleaning. I told them to put me on their "Do Not Call List", as I am on the main "Do Not Call List." I hung up on them
