They called and said I had been approved for a 9,000 dollar grant from the government but I had to pay a 210 dollar security deposit for the check???!!! WTH
Steve, you cannot be polite with these people. Nor can you be angry at them, as they consider it fun to hear you get angry.
Do not answer calls from numbers you do not recognize.
Let all mysterious calls go to voice mail or an answering machine.
Ignoring them is the only way to keep your peace of mind.

Some day, someone will go to jail, which for these people, is probably where they are calling from.
In which case, they will do more time.
I was dealing with these yahoos for several months until they finally stopped calling. Been several months now and this morning it started all over again? recieved 3 calls in 4 hr period. I'd use a blow horn on them if I weren't afraid of it scaring my dog to death!
