I've just reported this to Bank of America. It is a confirmed scam, and they are investigating it. This number "469-201-7025" called me at 7am this morning to say they are "Card Member Services". When I pressed them for a company name, since "Card Member Services" as a generic term, not a company name, they said they are with "FIA". FIA is an actual company, but this number is only using this other company's name ILLEGALLY> IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. My bank--Bank of America--confirmed that you should never give your info out over the phone. If this was legit, and it really was Bank of America, they would be able to look up your account with the last 4 digits only. And also, they would never be calling you unsolicited in the first place. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION OR YOU WILL BE A VICTIM OF THEFT. PLEASE REPORT THIS NUMBER TO YOUR BANK SO THEY CAN BEGIN THE INVESTIGATION TO SHUT THIS DOWN!!!!!!!
469- 201-7025 has called me the last two mornings between 8 and 9am. I work late so this is not acceptable. No one calls me this early unless it's an emergency. So my adrenaline gets going when my phone rings this early. I have not answered as I don't recognize the number. They haven't left a message. I googled the area code and got to this site. This is very helpful. Thank you all for your letting me and others know this is a bogus call.
PLEASE STOP CALLING! I HAVE RECEIVED NUMEROUS CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER (1-469-201-7025) THEY HAVE CALLED MANY TIMES OVER THE PAST WEEK AND SEVERAL TIMES IT HAS BEEN WHILE I WAS WITH PATIENTS!! THIS IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE AND WANT IT TO STOP!!
here is what is REALLY dumb: the number they called for me was a TextFree number: no voice was even associated with that number. I called them and told them to remove the number. The only annoying thing is the fact that I get a text from TextFree saying somebody tried to call my text number. Stupid stupid stupid. BTW: i've reported it to the State of Missouri Attny General.
