I've just reported this to Bank of America. It is a confirmed scam, and they are investigating it. This number "469-201-7025" called me at 7am this morning to say they are "Card Member Services". When I pressed them for a company name, since "Card Member Services" as a generic term, not a company name, they said they are with "FIA". FIA is an actual company, but this number is only using this other company's name ILLEGALLY> IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. My bank--Bank of America--confirmed that you should never give your info out over the phone. If this was legit, and it really was Bank of America, they would be able to look up your account with the last 4 digits only. And also, they would never be calling you unsolicited in the first place. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION OR YOU WILL BE A VICTIM OF THEFT. PLEASE REPORT THIS NUMBER TO YOUR BANK SO THEY CAN BEGIN THE INVESTIGATION TO SHUT THIS DOWN!!!!!!!
Got several calls from this number. They do not leave a message. I do not pick up on unidentified calls. Caller ID says "FIA Card Svcs". Most likely a credit card telemarketer.
I got a call from these folks and didn't even bother. I am not in the habit of picking up just any call, especially if it comes from an alleged credit card company. I usually leave it to my secretary (answering machine) to do all the talking for me in cases of 'mysterious' or otherwise suspicious numbers. They want to leave a message, they can just chat with my machine for awhile.
I got a call from this number. I live in Germany and have a skype number, and it was 4:18 am here! Fortunately, they didn't let it ring long enough to forward to my cell phone. I generally do not give out my skype number to just anyone, so how they got it, I'm not exactly sure.
