I've just reported this to Bank of America. It is a confirmed scam, and they are investigating it. This number "469-201-7025" called me at 7am this morning to say they are "Card Member Services". When I pressed them for a company name, since "Card Member Services" as a generic term, not a company name, they said they are with "FIA". FIA is an actual company, but this number is only using this other company's name ILLEGALLY> IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. My bank--Bank of America--confirmed that you should never give your info out over the phone. If this was legit, and it really was Bank of America, they would be able to look up your account with the last 4 digits only. And also, they would never be calling you unsolicited in the first place. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION OR YOU WILL BE A VICTIM OF THEFT. PLEASE REPORT THIS NUMBER TO YOUR BANK SO THEY CAN BEGIN THE INVESTIGATION TO SHUT THIS DOWN!!!!!!!
This is Bank of America. FIA Credit Services works for Bank of America and was hired to call BoA customers/potential customers. They also call using 715-341-1363. I have a credit card with them, but haven't carried a balance for over a year now. Hmmmm......wonder what they want! Regardless, I don't answer my CELL phone when they call. I'm not using my minutes in order to talk with them, particularly after bailing them out! I keep reporting to the DoNotCall website, but doesn't seem to be working.
