you are the lucky ones. I have 91 numbers in my log and counting over the years i have been with them. 1 day late and the calls start one every 20 min from a different number.
I have received countless phone calls from this number always asking for a "Cynthia" I have repeatedly told them that this is my new cell phone number and that I do not know a "Cynthia" they do not care they said, this is the number they were given to reach her and they will continue to call.
If I had not already given all my work contacts and my kids teachers the number as soon as I got it I would change it again. Anyone have any idea of legal recourse against companies who do this?
If you people get a call from capial one and you dont havean account, answer the number and tell them you dont have an account and you will file a phone harrassment report on them, they wont call then. as long as you say you are not the person they are asking for etc.. and if you pay your car payment on time you wouldnt be getting the phone call. so stop bitching and pay your bill ontime or expect a phone call geeesh they were nice enough to give you a loan with your good or [***] credit, and they want there money. you would be the same way. if your having hard times loss your job then you have no room to [***] about it. allthough i feel bad for you, with this economy we all have problems.
