Its not the case.....when a payday loan place takes a check they know its not good. They can try to take you to court. It is civil. Unless its a title loan then its different matter. I bet you work for one of these companies
I also received a call from this number saying I owed this money from an online payday loan back in 2007. A lady by the name of Renee said if I didn't call them back and resolve this matter by a certain date a summons would be issued to me at my place of employment.I called a lawyer friend and he said it was a scam and if I had not received anything in the mail to ignore it. I had saved all the threating voice mails and if they continue I can pursue legal action.

FROM EXSPERIENCE THEY TOOK ME TO COURT AND MADE ME PAY IT OUT OF MY CHECK THEY TOOK MY WHOLE CHECK THEN TOOK FOREVER TO GIVE ME BACK THE REMAINING BALANCE OF MY CHECK I HAD TO WAIT ON THE COUNTY TO SEND THE REST OF MY CHECK BOTTOM LINE IF YOU KNW YOU HAD A PAYDAY LOAN JUS PAY IT ,,,THEY DID SEND ME A PAID IN FULL LETTER AND RECIEPT TOO DNT LISTEN TO THESE PPL ON HERE AND GET IN TROUBLE TRUST ME ITS NOT WORTH IT DONT EVER THINK THAT THE LOAN YOU GOT WAS FREE THATS Y I DONT GET PAYDAY LOANS NO MORE
Well ha ha to you...you scammer that works for the company! It's not Check Systems when you can't get a checking account....it's Chex Systems! Ha Ha! Get a real job!!!
