Woken up twice by call from this number to my cell phone, each time hung up before I could answer. dialed number and got a human voice to text answering service who wouldn't identify caller and said the service is used by deaf/disabled people and my message (to stop calling) would be sent by e-mail to the subscriber.
Caller asked for me by name when I answered and said something about some BS 24/7 "air duct cleaning and air conditioning services." I said no thanks and I wanted to know how they got my number. The caller said they were using a "random phone number generator". I told the woman she was lying, because if it was random they would not have known my name. She promptly hung up without saying another word. Thieves looking to scam money hard working people.
4803594321 called at 08.03 hrs and left no message. They hung up on me the moment I answered. Returned call to be removed, but the line is completely dead. No ringing what so ever. Might be a spoofed number.
I do live in AZ and my daughter's school where she is an administrator, as well as the Mayo Clinic where I am going for cancer treatment are both in this area code. Luckily, I was not home, otherwise I might have picked up. It was a hang-up, so no message. If I get more than 2 unwanted calls from any number, I automatically block them.
Recently let go from a call center on west side of Tucson, suspect some of the staff have given my home phone number to scam artists have had a flurry of calls several from this number. I called back twice there was a warbled non normal dial tone I was hung up on twice.
A large white truck drove through my neighborhood just before the call it had a fitted tano lid with a TV set like indentation behind the window form fitted. I think these guys are spoofing the 480 area code number and driving through the neighborhood with a robo dialer and a CC skimmer seeing if they can catch somone on the internet making a transaction or applying for a job to get thier personal info. I have seen the same truck about several dozen times in the last 4 years of living here they do not live in the area. Just happened to be on the coputer my desk faces the street and my door happened to be open as I saw this.
Fraud gangs recently arrested in the last 2 years here suspect this is a different group.
