OMG I just got the phone call about an hour ago I spent some time questioning this so called David Brown and when I asked him what month, day, and year this so called pay day loaned was taken out he said he only had the the year of 2010 information available. My dad was present at the time I was on the phone and told me that it was probably all crap! I was very suspecious after they were not able to provide the information I requested. They even threatended me by saying they would call my job and have me arrested there. After reading all of the comments posted here I know I did the correct thing by just hanging up on them!
THEY CALL AND YELL AT ANYONE PICKING UP PHONE IF THEY ARE NOT PUT OVER TO PERSON THEY WANT TO TALK TO. VERY EVASIVE ON GIVING INFO WHEN ASKED. CLAIM TO BE A GOVERENMENT OFFICIAL BUT CAN NOT GIVE TOLL FREE NUMBER OR ADDRESS
A NORMAL BUSINESS WOULD DO THAT AT LEAST.
VERY MUCH SOME KIND OF SCAM OR IDENTITY THEFT POSSIBLY GOING ON HERE.
I have had this same problem they tell us that tey have enough information that could put us in jail if we do not show up to court but they wont tell us where that is.
I recieaved a call from this number telling us to call back EX241 for Mike Jones and he said since we will not pay back this payday loan (that we never took out) they are going to make a legal report and send someone to our home to have my husband arrested, but they will not give us any information or send us any proof that they supposedly have.
they called me today saying i owed payday loan and didnt pay them back i did not get any money they told me they were going to put me in jail if i did not give them 987 dollars so i thought i would be smart i told him to give me the address were i could sent them some money he told me to give him my aacount number i toold him i did not have one he told me to send it out westerm union i told him to give me his address he told me to go to waL MART AND CALL HIM HE WOULD GIVE ME THE ADDREES WHEn i got there and called him i toold him i was taping him and he hung up pn me after he said that i stold there money i called the police and hee told me they have to take ne to court before they can do anything to me and he told me to put a block on my phone so they cant call me no more
