OMG I just got the phone call about an hour ago I spent some time questioning this so called David Brown and when I asked him what month, day, and year this so called pay day loaned was taken out he said he only had the the year of 2010 information available. My dad was present at the time I was on the phone and told me that it was probably all crap! I was very suspecious after they were not able to provide the information I requested. They even threatended me by saying they would call my job and have me arrested there. After reading all of the comments posted here I know I did the correct thing by just hanging up on them!
My duaghter had the same phone call and the only problem is that she did give them info and I finally got involved and they told me that I was going to b arrested too, along with my duaghter and I told them OK thats fine. But they would not give any info on there Bussiness name so I asked for there
BBB# and they gave me there phone # 4842216204 so I told her that it had to be a SCAM. Names used Jeff Morgan, and Officer of the Department Allen and we call local Police and they confirmed that it was a SCAM.
So if anyone gets a phone call from Federal Crime Division/Department (FCD) and very heavy foregin accents.
they called me saying i owed for a loan i never received, threating to put me in jail.thanks foe the info on these scam artist. they had me shook for a while. his name was Justin Miller from some sheriff department but wouldnt give me any info on my case or when or who sent me any money.
I keep getting calls from these people. Everytime I block the number I get a call from a different number but they always have the same thick accent...It will stop for awhile and then it starts again..I have been dealing with this for three years off and on..they will not send a bill...They had all my old checking account info, emailed me a fake warrent for my arrest even..Ive changed my number went to an attorney about it and everything else I could possibly do..I dont know how to make it stop for good.
I just got a phone call but from a different number and registered as Silver Spring, MD #301-563-9224 ext 204 but same name Jeff Morgan stating a complaint was filed against me and I will be arrested within 9 months. He has a thick/ heavy accent. He called both my home and cellphone number. I do not know how he got them but this happened last year as well but from a different number, same thick accent. This person is SICK!!!!
