When I get any calls I dont want, I just get them to pick up the call and say * This is the phoenix police Dept * or pick any police dept and say how may I help you. It tends to scare them off from calling again. Makes me feel better any ways LOL
Received a call at 3:19pm from 501-321-4569, Caller ID: "Arkansas". Just the same old "Card Member Services" credit card scam, with a different spoofed/fake caller ID. Do Not give them any information!
Just got the same credit card robo-call. Interesting how these calls seem to go in cycles - 1 week I get these type of robo-calls around the same time every day, then they stop for a few weeks, then on again. Seems that I get less calls, though, as time goes on, since as soon as I hear the robot, I've started pressing random buttons. I've been told that it makes the robo think it has a fax line, so it will kick your number out of the system. Don't know if this really does work, but as I said, I have gotten less of these scam calls as time goes on.
I'm on the do not call list - so why am I getting repeated calls from these people, machines, dummies, whatever they are. There is no way they're going to get any info out of me - so why call? I do not want any more of these calls.
