Suppose you paid your electric bill dumb [***] and they still call you 5 or 6 times a day because the haven't processed the payment yet. It's called telephone harrassment!
It's PGE they don't ONLY call out from this number when your bill is late. They call from it regarding other issues. we got a call once because iur neighborhood had been having issues and thry were following up to see if it had been resolved. OR, if you requested a call when power is restored from an outage they call from this number as well.
For those who keep saying it's because your bill isn't paid, I don't even live near Portland and they keep calling me so before you go yelling at people to pay there bills realize that they probably are. I don't even have anything account or number with PGE, so obviously it's not just bills
