The same scenario has occurred with me and they have my last four digits of my SSN. Barely, could understand what they said but it sounded like they said I owed money to a payday loan Cash USA. This payday lender has a notice on their website that a foreign company is trying to scam people telling them they are a law firm and suing you for owing them money. They have two addresses out of NY to forward your money. If you can get an address and name… file a complaint with your Attorney General.
they called me and said i took a loan out of 500 dollars so i asked weres the money were did u send it cuz i never recieved it they hung up then called back an said the police would b cumin to my house and i no im not goin crazy they hung up so i called the number back an thy was very nasty an i couldnt understand them they lady name was angela
I got a call that left this number. They said I had been named as a person of interest in a claim. However, the number on my caller ID was 617-531-2607. Why call from one number and leave a different number to call? And she sounded like she was from India or something, and I couldn't understand her.
