Idiot called from this number, threatening legal action over a payday loan I never took. Hung up on him, and he called back. We did this dance 10 or 15 times, until I finally just let him sit silently on the phone. Late-night callback goes to voicemail for "AVRS" or some nonsense. Filed FTC complaint, and had the number blocked.
Similar situation happened about a year ago. They're using my maiden name, and states I've lived in before I moved here. Obviously a scam. Anyone else gotten one of these?
They keep calling my cell phone and saying that I need to call back at 877-381-5756 on an
important matter that has been filed with there office. They left no name or any claim number.
I will keep ignoring these calls since they are long distance.
