Definitely a scam and these people are beyond rude. Received a call from "Mr. Rand" of AVRS [855-231-7070 ext. 1003] saying he was calling about a payday loan. I asked if his company had tried to contact me in writing and he started hemming and hawing. I told him until I received something in writing, there was nothing else we needed to discuss. Let's just say we didn't part on friendly terms. WHATEVS!
They call me every couple of weeks, threatening me. They have limited information, but are total scam artistts. I am going to file a complaint somewhere, I'm tired of the threats.
They've never done a thing. They always threaten to "go to my place of employment" to serve me and when I ask them where that is, they weasel. I have no debt, they're desperate scam artists. Mess with them, pretend you'll pay, file complaints, but above all, don't let them worry you.
Think I got the same call. A Ms. Grey left a mumbled message (could barely make out AVRS) that made it seem they were looking for Al Moore and wanted my help. Don't know anyone by this name and certainly not calling back.
I received a call from 512-562-0060 and it went to voice mail stating my name was given as a point of interest in an investigation. Gave me a number to call back, which I have not called. It's 855-231-7020.
