We are in Orlando, FL. Received a call yesterday at 3:40 which showed up on our caller ID as "206931". The automated message instructed us to call 515-354-1813 b/c our Visa at McCoy Federal Credit Union had been suspended. (We do not have an account there, nor did we call.) Have to say that I'm surprised they insert specific account names, since they apparently are not matching phone numbers against known accounts!
I am on the West Coast, and I got a call at 6 am local time from an automated voice saying my Credit Union Visa debit card had been suspended. Of course, I don't have a Credit Union Visa debit. Since the number was not an 800 number, I did not return the call.
I am on the West Coast, and I got a call from this number at 7am local time this morning saying my Keypoint Credit Union Visa debit card got suspended. I don't bank with Keypoint. Won't call back either. You're right as this isn't a 800 number, don't consider calling back.
I am in Missouri,2 phone call now (one at 2:11am!!) from Vantage Credit union(not really). It is a phishing phone call trying to get your credit card number if you happen to have one. I called and gave them a bogus card number and info. If they waste my time I can do the same. I also called the real Vantage Credit union and spoke with security and reported the call back number. They confirmed it was a phishing phone call.
Received an automated call at 7AM saying it was from Keypoint Credit and my debit card has been suspended. Surprise, I don't bank with them nor would I have a debit card. Was very suspicious and checked online and found this website.
