I work in a call center and I've gotten 3 calls from number: 516-453-5658. One from Mississippi, one from Texas and one from North Dakota. They don't leave a message, when you pick up they hang up, I didn't even get to find out the company. LOL Stupid spammers.
Today I got the same call from Pinnacle Tax Services. I am a tax attorney in Tucson Arizona and I regularly assist clients who have tax problems. The original call came from 516 area code and I left a message with my cell phone number. A few minutes later I got a call from the 520 area code which is Tucson. The girl who called me sounded like she was about 16. I asked if she was calling from Tucson and she said no she is from Irvine. How she got the 520 number to show up on my phone is a mystery to me. I told her that it is illegal under Arizona law to use robo call machines to make such calls to Arizona. She did not believe me so I am going to send her a copy of the statute and will send a copy of my letter to them to the Arizona attorney general's office. If anyone out there has tax problems visit a local CPA, EA or attorney with experience in these matters. DO NOT fall for these online, phone and TV scamsters. I received a call from 516-453-5658, but answering they hung up as soon as I answered the call. Call-id showed "Tax Relief News". I have no idea what the call was about, but too am on the National Do Not Call List.
This morning I received a call from this number with some recorded BS message about the IRS junk. So I listen to the end in hopes that a person would get on the line so I could ream them a new A-hole. Nope, just a recording. But it did say press 9 to be removed from this list. I did and now four hours later I just received the same call. Sooooo their "Remove from list" Feature needs a little work.
