So grateful for caller ID and Voicemail. If I don't recognize the number they can leave a message. If they don't leave a message, then it wasn't meant to be or important. These loser's are always hoping to get a human to answer the phone at which point I grow alligator arms. Just not worth the frustration or time. If no one answered.... maybe they'd would go away.
I received a call asking to speak to the Chief. When I asked who was calling, he said "Mark Sullivan". When I asked what company he is with, he said, Pioneer. Very sketchy caller. Of course, our chief was in a meeting.
he called and asked if we had a chef at our location. we are a private country club so i told him yes. he asked me who he was. i told him his name. it was a very simple name but he just didn't seem to understand. anyway, he asked if he was available. i went to transfer him and he hung up. now that i know this i'll just place him on hold next time and leave him there. he wasn't the friendliest of fellows.
I've been receiving calls from this number and always hung up on. Today when I answered the man said "Oh I must have dialed the wrong number. Maybe it's because I work for a Law Enforcement Agency and answered the phone accordingly.
