So grateful for caller ID and Voicemail. If I don't recognize the number they can leave a message. If they don't leave a message, then it wasn't meant to be or important. These loser's are always hoping to get a human to answer the phone at which point I grow alligator arms. Just not worth the frustration or time. If no one answered.... maybe they'd would go away.
I work for a police department. I just received a phone call from them. They asked to speak to our chief by name. They said he sent an information card to them to learn more about their products, to which I confirmed he did not.
This guy has been harassing me for the past 1.5 years. The same thing, asks to speak to the director and when I tell him he's not available he hangs up on me. Usually he says his name is Bob but yesterday he called himself Mike - his voice is something memorable!! Again, I began by being polite but ended up hanging up on him. He tried to tell me the director called him and he's waiting for his call (the director and myself share an office and he was within earshot of this conversation) so I played along with him for a bit and then I told him he's extremely rude, I was sick of him hanging up on me and he would never speak to the director so long as I answer the phone here. He came back with "I'm sure I did hang up on you, you keep telling me T-- doesn't want to speak with me". Helloooo...........why would anyone want to speak to you when you're rude to a possible potential customer - I hung up on him. If he calls back again I'm not going to be so nice. As soon as I find out the true name of his company (there's one located in MA with almost the same name) I'm contacting the Attorney General in my state.
Something needs to be done with this company or this employee. Bob or Mike (he uses both names) has been calling for 1.5 years and each time he calls, he's rude and hangs up. I'm trying to run a business here and jerks like this need to be written up and fined for wasting my time.
