So grateful for caller ID and Voicemail. If I don't recognize the number they can leave a message. If they don't leave a message, then it wasn't meant to be or important. These loser's are always hoping to get a human to answer the phone at which point I grow alligator arms. Just not worth the frustration or time. If no one answered.... maybe they'd would go away.
Very odd - we are a governmental maintenance department and they call for the "director" or the "maintenace supervisor" but won't leave a name or number. The number comes up as Nobel Industrial - metal fab and steel tubes. But who knows if this is the real number or not!
I work for a School District in AZ. I get telemarketing calls all the time as somehow my office is listed with a directory somewhere as the main number for the District, which it is not. If I don't recognize the area code as one I deal with, I don't answer. Got a call from this number today. There was no message left. I see they are trying to sell supplies or something so that is why they are calling agencies like fire, police, schools apparently. I just don't answer and eventually they quit calling. :)
