'Nat'(?) called today from 'Corey Hicks & Associates' asked for the boss by name. I asked what it was in reference to, and he said: 'Although I'd love to discuss this with you because you are on the phone, I 'd like to speak with (boss' name) directly. Does SHE have voice mail?' THE BOSS IS A MALE, so I knew it was a scam. I answered, "If you don't tell me what it's in reference to, you won't get through." And I hung up the phone.
HE CALLED BACK and said, "Is that how you act when you don't get your way?"
I HUNG UP AGAIN.
I recognized the firm's name from prior disrespectful pigs who have called in the past.
Still playing their same game! I politely told them I am not in need of their service and Joseph Reid was a complete A$$$. I would never, ever want someone like him representing me and my business!
Hector from Cory G. Hicks has called our business several times, trying to reach multiple people at our company. We have asked him on several occasions to not call us again. He responds by yelling and threatening me over the phone.
Funny thing is, they're not even trying to collect from our business. They say they want to work with us to help us collect from our clients. If you're trying to get someone's business, would you threaten them?
Thanks to the advice from other consumers on this website, we have proceeded to file an official complaint with the proper federal authorities and have consulted with our attorney.
I really feel sorry for these people. I can't imagine how they sleep at night.
I too am getting phone calls from Luke Black. Stating he is a collector. I, do owe the company he is representing money. However, my attorney is working on the matter. I do owe the money and I will pay the money, but given these economic times, I can't pay the money right now. This guy is totally unprofessional. I asked for his Arizona Bar Number, no response. Anybody got any ideas? He does represent himself as an attorney. Are these guys attorneys or not? I let him know that I had representation in the matter and to contact my attorney. He refuses!!! I am not sure, but I think this is in violation of the fair debt collection act or something like that. Is this true? Any help would be great

Has been calling my business and cell phone regarding a bogus claim and will not even listen regarding this bogus claim for $1000.00 dollars.
He calls and hangs up and then leaves messages with threats and using fowl language I will send a regestered letter on 2-17-2010. Zake claims to be a attorney but even attorneys have morals, he is a punk and I would like to meet him in fact I told him I would pay this bogus claim and more if he comes to collect from me.
