Got a call yesterday (on our cell phone which we use only in emergencies and noone should have the number!) mentioned credit card company, hung up immediately as they were using up our minutes! Ridiculous. Can't believe they asked for someones credit card number, scary!
Just got a call this Saturday morning from 520-519-9832 on my cell. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, especially from out of state. I let them go to voice mail. If it's important the caller can leave a message and I'll contact the caller should I choose to do so.
Since discovering "800notes", I like running weird looking, unsolicited phone numbers through this web site. Apparently, these people have been very busy trying to scam folks!
This number beeped me when I was on with another caller. I didn't recognize it, so I Googled it before calling back. Thanks for the heads up! I won't be returning that call.
Received an automated call from this number today saying they were calling about my current credit card accounts. I tried to call the number back and it said the subscriber does not accept incoming calls. How convenient. The last time I got a call from this same company, it was a different person's number and when asked if I wanted to reduce my interest on my credit cards I told him no. I started to tell him (nicely) that I was calling to have my number removed from their call list (I am on a national do no call list) and he hung up on me before I could finish. If someone has a name for this company or a 1 800 # from an automated message it would be great! I am going to call them to pretend to be interested, keep them on the phone for a while and then ask them how it feels to have your time wasted when I let them know that I am not interested. Then I'm going to let them know that every time I get a call from them, I am going to do the exact same thing.
Same as everyone. Saw call... didn't recognize it, ...didn't answer, ...they didn't leave voicemail,... they got googled, ...i saw these postings. Called it back and same message which is that they don't accept incoming calls. But I am still amazed that there are people on here still pondering how they got your number because you just got your phone, its a work phone, etc. Come on people, surely by now you have heard of the "Robo-dialers." Its just an automated program that dials numbers in sequence til they get one that answers.
I received a phone call from this number on my cell. I didn't answer it, but came home and Binged the number. This is where Bing took me. I am so glad to have a Bing around the house, it keeps me from getting into trouble due to my curious nature!
