Got a call yesterday (on our cell phone which we use only in emergencies and noone should have the number!) mentioned credit card company, hung up immediately as they were using up our minutes! Ridiculous. Can't believe they asked for someones credit card number, scary!
got a call on my cell phone, a recording... "Hi, this is Tiffany from creditholder services, with a question about your credit card, there is no problem with your account... " I just hung up.
They don't really have your number. They use an auto dialer. It just rings random combination of numbers till someone answers. have got this call on a company cell several times. If its not in my phone book I usually don't answer the phone.
