Got a call yesterday (on our cell phone which we use only in emergencies and noone should have the number!) mentioned credit card company, hung up immediately as they were using up our minutes! Ridiculous. Can't believe they asked for someones credit card number, scary!
Ya, i got a phone call from this number too, i was asleep and didn't bother to answer it. I usually never answer phone calls from whom i dont know the number belongs to. if it is important enough they will leave a message! i decided to look it up and find out who it was because when i called back it said "subscriber wishes not to have incoming calls" or whatever. I'm really happy i decided to look this up! Seriouslly, i'm on a national no call list so how did they get my number? i dont even have a credit card!! lol

Not sure how this company got my cell number - but they called and hung up when I hit #1 to speak to whomever it was. An obvious identity theft scam, but how the heck do you go after a sleazebag company like that? Since my cell phone is a disposable and very few folks know it, how the heck did they get my number?
