These scammers have been calling my work and my cell for months, I have reported to the FCC and the States Atty. office in NY, Ca and Fl. Today they called and said they were coming to my office to arrest me. I called them a few choice words, and told them to forget it, they keep calling back and I just randomly tell them crazy things like you must love your job, Do you make a great paycheck by stealing??
This person, claiming to be from a law firm, called my business looking for one of my employees. I told him that person was no longer employed here. He cussed at me and hung up...he called back 62 times in 3 and a half hours(not an exaggeration) harrassing my employees and me. He kept saying I was lying to him about this girls termination. He disrupted the Front Desk at my Hotel for 3 1/2 hours - pure harrassment.
I was in the Marine Corps for 16 yrs and thought I heard every kind of profanity there was - the language this person used toward me was the most degrading and offensive I have ever heard.
Police will do nothing, phone company will do nothing, Attorney General of Alabama will do nothing.
I just received a call from this number. Foreign guy with thick accent. Pulled the whole FBI, committed a Federal crime, etc. I asked him what was the name of the payday loan company. He told me and I informed him repeatly that I paid off that loan, that I had written proof and would be happy to email or fax it.
He just kept telllng me "this is a different one". Ah, no it's not. I told him not to call me at my work and then hung up and he called back a left a threatening message to be in court in CA on Tuesday. I live in MN. Yeah, right.
Have any of your earlier posters received more phone calls since you posted?
Do I have any reason to take Peterson Law Firm seriously? Anybody got a fax number so I can send my payoff papers to this idiot.
Update to whomever is interested- I called the payday loan company and they informed me that they have an investigation going on for this company thru their Seizures and Fraud department. They also told me it is a complete scam, ignore anything they say and the the Federal Trade Commission is also investigating. If your calls are about payday loans from CashNetUSA you should call and register your complaint. To anyone who is worrying about this, don't. Total fraud.
so i keep getting a call from this number for the last week, do i really need to worry about them taking me to court? i told them to talk to someone else that i have seattled my loans with and they still call. when i told them i have talked to someone else they said just anwer my questions or i will meet you in court, is that what you want? i know i recieved loans but during them loaning the money they said pay back when you can well times are hard now wouldn't of got them if i would of know it was going to be like this. they say they want to help you when times are hard but really they are causing more trouble than anything. i am about to loss my job over it then how will i pay for them
