A virulent telemarketer from this number (fraudulently claimed to be from the IRS Criminal Investigations Division) today, then told me to F’ Off and Die! The cold-caller’s sour stream of expletives came in response to my direct question “Are you actually an IRS Agent or not” whereupon the dimwitted doodlebug became tongue-tied, and notwithstanding some guttural mumbo jumbo, appeared entirely unable to form a coherent sentence.
Heavy accent called from the "IRS". I asked for agent name, ID #, and phone number to call back. He provided all but of course do not answer the phone. I Googled the # and found all of this good info. This is a SCAM!!!
Got a call from an India sounding guy claiming to be an IRS agent and he was extremely rude! Said we owed taxes from from 2005-2011. When we started questioning him, he said he was going to have us arrested. That was yesterday! They have already called back this morning.
Same story as other here. Heavily accented caller claimed to be IRS. Pretty certain that it isn't since the government is in the second day of shutdown.
Heavy indian accent left me a msg saying that my or my attorney needs to call him back or there would be repercussions. He said his name is Danny L. Peters. I did not call back.
