"IT" called me and leave a nasty message from the IRS. I called back to let them know they left the message for someone by the name of Brian Johnson and it was the wrong person. "HE" or maybe I should again say "IT" said he would remove my number. It was only 15 minutes later that "IT" called me back and again I said no Brian Johnson lives here and I don't know a Brian Johnson. "IT" had the nerve to ask me it I was sure. BOYYYYY did I read him his rights and let him, "IT" know about his family tree!!! He hung up and I called him back and needless to say, "IT" won't answer my phone calls so that I can tell him about his roots now that "IT" know about "ITS" family tree!!! I WANT "IT TO CALL ME BACK AGAIN AND I WANT IT TO ANSWER ITS PHONE!!!! NOBODY CALLS ME A LIAR!!!!!! Just called back and let them know he was a fake and he said, it takes time to get these numbers off and to be patience! HA!
I get a call from the IRS I call back! 25 years as an independent and I know better than to ignore an IRS call even when the fellow who left the message hardly speaks English. This is not uncommon with the IRS these days. Was directed to "Kevin Peterson" (same accent) I asked if it was the Scandinavian or English spelling of the last name. I was told the local Sheriff would be here shortly to seize my assets and provide my court docs. I got a little pissed, asked for a supervisor they gave me a guy with similar accent who was just a full of crap, demanded $1314 or I would have to pay $12,540 at the court house. I told them email me the docs and I will be pleased to pay, otherwise refer me to the branch manager or someone who spoke English. They hung up and will not answer anything now. call came from 530-289-6409
This is a very obvious scam since the vast majority of the IRS is shut down. Also, you should know that any communication from the IRS regarding tax issues is always initiated via the US Mail. You will never, ever receive the type of call you did from the IRS.
Indian people saying they are irs & we have problem with return. Claimed his name was David Johnson & when asked to put someone on the line who could speak English, another heavy Indian accent come on the line & said his name Don Williams. Yea right!
My phone rang a little before 7:30 AM from this # . The # they called me on was my fax line that NEVER rings before 9AM. I went to see if there was a fax but there wasn't . Checked caller ID and Googled the # that led me to this site. I'm shocked at the comments I am reading. I thought it was some telemarketer that I was going to call back and let them know they couldn't call people that early. I won't waste my time now. Thanks 800 notes!...... Stupid Foreigners!
