I RECEIVED A CALL FROM 951-223-6693 informing me that IRS is investigating me and I should immediately call Kevin Peterson at 530 377 6497. Call was made early in the morning, which made me suspicious. I searched web for both these numbers and founf them to be scams.
Third call from a guy with an Indian accent . at 7:15 on a Saturday!!! claiming he is from the IRS. When I told him I know his call is a scam he blurted foul language and I hung up.
Got a call a few days ago and left me a garbled message in Indian accent saying he was "John Smith" from IRS. I have NO issues with the IRS now or in the past , was absolutely sure this was a scam! After Goggling the number I am positve. John Smith...what a joke!
Just got the same call from the same Miller guy. Left me a message, but then I started thinking. Thank God my daughters told me it was a scam. God bless all of you for posting this.
Received a call from this number on a SUNDAY claiming she is Lisa Brown from central IRS. I said today is Sunday, IRS is open? I asked what it is about since my taxes our filed jointly and she will not give me an answer. she demanded my husband calls her ASAP or face legal consequences. she does sound like "life of pi"
