Another of the "card services" scammer numbers. I've trapped probably about 130 of their numbers by now. Thankfully, I have unlimited blocking on my iphone with a program called iblacklist. Sorry, you have to be a jailbreaker to get it. If you are, its in the Cydia store.
This is a VERY RUDE telemarket call. Asked to be removed SEVERAL times but they just hang up on you!!!!!!!!! They are a VERY SORRY & VERY RUDE telemarket company and so are their employess!!!!!!!
Of COURSE they are rude -- they are criminals!! If you don't buy what they're 'selling' (i.e. scamming), then they have no time for you and hang up.
They are not a legit telemarketing company; they are SCAMMERS and SCUM. They break the law. They don't care what you think. They also don't care if you report them -- there is nothing that can be done about it, they simply dial from a new number.
Do what a caller above does -- don't pick up, let your VM to answer on 5 rings, problem solved. Turn down the ring tone on your phone if it bothers you.
Until the FDC figures out a way to stop this (that will never happen) or WE as a country STOP responding to these thugs, this will continue. Beat them at their own game and maybe they're finally stop doing it, once it no longer makes money for them.
I received many calls from this number stating that this was my final notice to lower my credit card interest rate, however, to tell you the truth I have lost count of how many with this same last and final notices from this company. Only once out of three when I pressed 1 to talk to a representative this rep stated her cause and I told her I was not interested and shockingly she pleasantly thank me and hung up; the other two were jerks. I'm thinking the pleasantness was just a tactic to lure me to take the bait since I am still getting the calls for financial stimulus.
