Received multiple calls from this number. Decided to answer it today and it is a company called RPM Collections. The number shows up as a Virginia number but the lady says they are in Washington. Apparently I have/had a old Nextel account that is in collections from 2005 for $73. I told them I was on deployment at that time and swore I resolved it in Feb.2006 and to have Sprint/Nextel call me.
I get as many as 6 (six) calls a day from 1-571-261-0021 (Caller ID identified as "ReceivablesPerf, every day of the week including Sunday. This caller also persists in telephoning my home after 8 p.m. in the evening. From everything I can find out about FCC and FTC legal statutes, these people have gone over the line with regard to harassment and invasion of privacy. I know who they are and what they are calling about which is a disputed account regarding an item paid for and returned. I would greatly appreciate your reply to this communication and any input/advice you can offer to put a stop to this disturbance. I am 73 years old and this harassment has gotten beyond the point of simple annoyance; it has caused me stress which I am advised by my doctor is detrimental to my health. Thank you.
To: Caller: 1-571-261-0021 ("ReceivablesPerf... - name too long for ID screen) Your calls have exceeded 6 times a day and have included Sundays and hours after 8 p.m. You have crossed the line with regard to harassment, and I have reported you to both government authorities (including Federal) and have filed a complaint to my attorney. You are calling with regard to an account which is in dispute, and you are wasting your time and severely disturbing mine. I fully intend to press charges against you for harassment and endangerment to my health. (I am 73 years old.) - RW

I keep getting random calls from these people. I picked up twice, each time a computer voice said "please hold, someone is trying to contact you." I hung up immediately after, since nobody I know ever calls collect, and plus, I know the collect numbers and that ain't one of them. I'm getting madder and madder at them. If they are Sprint, they need to stop calling because I cancelled my membership with them AND have paid off my early termination fee. Freaking Sprint.
