>> I verified the filing was genuine before responding to them. <<
If that is true, you should be able to give us the information at the top of the summons, since it is now "public information".
Give us the court name and location, the name of the judge, the plaintiff's attorney's name and Bar number, and the name of the company or person that is suing you, the date you are supposed to appear, and possibly a docket number.
Can you do that, to prove your statement, or did I ask for too much information?
Well, then, just give us the name and address of the court, and the plaintiff's name, and the date of the "filing". You do not have to tell us your name. That should not be difficult at all. Otherwise, we will have strong evidence you were NOT served, and are fibbing to us, and are probably a shill for the phone number under discussion.
I betcha you can't give us the requested information. You didn't even give the physical and web address of the company that uses this phone number, so we could check their validity.
Do not bother to return and argue these points, unless you can provide the data I requested. In other words, you failed the Shilling 101 class.
.
You have all of their information then. Post it. We'll want their legal, physical address, the BAR numbers & names of their attorneys & the names of the states that this outfit is licensed & bonded to lawfully collect debt in. You can also tell us in which jurisdictions this outfit has filed suits in. That shouldn't be any problem for you. You say they filed a suit against you. You must have a lot of paperwork concerning this outfit. We'll be waiting.

Interesting that the reports started here in 2014 and not a one of them mentions Portfolio. No one mentions that law firm either, which doesn't have an office in Mississippi. So are you going to answer any of the questions? Are you going to give it to us one little tidbit at a time? Are you going to ignore us? Enquiring minds want to know! Just as if we were reading the National Enquirer
