My call on 4/30/15 was a pre recorded female voice saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. It gave another phone number to call, I didn't get a pen in time. I plan on reporting this to the IRS. My caller ID only said New York.
Robo call from this number saying that the internal revenue service has been trying to reach me and is issuing a lawsuit against me. I need to call 206-462-5501 to resolve this. I hung up.
This call came in at 7:22am. That is an OBNOXIOUS time to be calling. I will be reporting this to FTC and my congress people because I CANNOT take it if these scofflaws start waking me up in the morning. They need to start enforcing the do-not-call list.
Received the following message on my land line voice mail. The call came from 607-397-8255.
I have reported the call to the FTC and the IRS.
"Hello we have been trying to reach you. This call is officially a final notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service is the reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 209-676-8870. I repeat 209-676-8870. Thank you."
Got a call this morning from a woman with heavy accent saying "Hello, we have been trying to reach you. This is your final notice from the IRS." Click, I hung up. They are so annoying
I got a phone message caller ID'ed as this number and indicated as Pay Phone.
It was the automated IRS final notice scam. The message told me to call 914-595-6462, which is probably also a scam number.
The message claimed "the IRS is proceeding to file lawsuit against me". The IRS does not file lawsuits; they open cases in tax court. Any such notice would be sent by snail mail.
