Who called from 6089356955

Land's End is at it again!  I just received a call from them on my cell phone.  I didn't answer.  Why bother?  Anyway, they left a marketing message giving me a code for free shipping on my next order.  I guess they're hurting for business!  But, that does not give them the right to telemarket me.  So much for that donotcall.gov list...

Just received a voice mail on my cell phone from the same number ya'll are talking about.  It was Pat from Land's End.  She said she was calling to let me know about a "free shipping" offer on all orders until April 17 - Pin Number - April 0417.  Since she wasn't selling anything and wasn't asking me to take pictures of myself in their clothes, I can only assume it was a legit call.  By the way - my home number is unlisted.  I figure why give it out when I'm paying for that so when asked on orders, I give out my cell number.  That would explain why they called my cell number instead of home.

katg - I just got the same message on my cell phone!  

I have placed orders with Land's End in the past, but I don't think this call came directly from Land's End...probably some marketing company they sold information to.  My impression of Land's End is that they strive on quality products and customer service...I don't think they would stoop to automated calls, but who knows with this economy, maybe they need more business.

This was the reply I got from Land's End Customer Service.  The promotion is legit.
