I also got a call from this rude thieves. I have reported their number to the FTC. Please take 5 minutes and report them. It is the only way to get rid of them. !!!!!
Just received a call from these people, exactly the same story as everyone else. I was told to hold on for the representative to give me a confirmation number to cancel the service and if I hung up we would be automatically renewed. Was texting my boss while on hold as she is the one who would set up anything of that nature, her first thought was SCAM. When the representative came on the line, I told her we knew nothing of this "account", never heard of them before, the address they had listed for us was incorrect (didn't tell them that, though) and that we weren't paying them a DIME. In the middle of my tirade, they hung up.
same as all above just turned over to a.g. office state of alabama,its a scam tony lan called me said badge#4574 said we took out 2011 up for renewal was try to get credit card for$ 829.99
Received call from National Business Advertising. Woman on phone said she was calling to confirm my cancellation order for company listing. She asked if I had a pen to take down the confirmation # and that I would need to pay my bill of $800+ for cancellation to take effect. She spoke rapid fire and when I tried to interrupt her, she hung up. I have never heard of this outfit and I certaininly did not sign up for some business listing service.
Our business is also having problems: this is our ongoing story..Received phone call from Business Directory on 4/9/2013: He asked for Sandra I said she no longer works for company, then he gave me an attitude about how he wants to cancel our business service and I tried to explain to him that we do not have or need any service for directory and he said that is what I’m calling about. So then I kept asking him how I could help him since we are going around in circles and he said you didn’t ask me how you could help me he said you asked the name of the company. I then realized he was being hostel for no reason so I then asked him again how can I help him he just said he will call back and then hung up. However he proceeds to call back 3 or 4times and just randomly hang up.
Then on 4/10/13 he calls back again asking for Sandra (same guy, cause he even said he called yesterday) anyways I told him that she doesn’t work here and asked how I could help him, he then got pissy so I asked him what his problem was and he said I had the problem and I then hung up and then called me back and said I hung up, I said I didn’t hang up so maybe the call just accidentally got disconnected but he was not believing that so I said we don’t need any service but then it was like he lost his mind and just kept going in circles so I finally said why don’t I get an owner for you and then he just went even more in circles and hostel verbally to me so I put him on hold. When Cheryl spoke with him she was having the same problem. Then when she was done talking with him about 3 minutes later the phone rings, yep him again! He only says this to me> You can tell your boss I am not cancelling her service I am adding 2 more years onto it and she will have to pay!!! Then he hangs up! Number called from 609-207-7539 but when I call the number, it just goes straight to voicemail and has no room for message.
Received call from National Business Advertising.this male stated I owed $ 800.00 for 2 years of advertisement online, would not give me much info about his company. He told me I was rude. He sid he did'nt need a contract to make his bill legal. I finally hung up on him.
