The reports go back to 2012. read CWG40's post.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

LMAO! More illegal techniques used by the morons at this law firm. Review the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If you don't receive any letters from them, even after speaking with you, find a consumer protection lawyer and make them pay you!
Phone number 614-437-9886. A guy by the name of Daniel Napper? keeps calling and trys to be very perswasive and is rude. he says he has a case against me with case number CS823 but refuses to tell me what it is about. i called him back numerous times and he still refuses to elaborate on details and just says that he will file the case in court tomorrow. to me he is an A## that has no life but to try and intimidate some one. i told him to mail me what he has against me and he said i do not have to mail you anything, just know that tomorrow you will be crying over this. i told him bring it on i will see you in court if you have anything against me. these people are fools.
I received an automated call from this number 614-475-3582 saying it was a call from Daniel Slane's office. I don't know of any such person and they asked that I call them back immediately or I would be served by 5 pm that day. WOW!! That's fast service. I never contacted them but they keep leaving automated messages on my telephone or googling names they think are my relatives.
