I have 3 accounts with businesses that finance thru Comenity Bank. These jerks have called 8 times today even though I have set up payments online. Paying these jerks off in January. Such blatant harassment! I also plan to give an earful to these 3 companies for financing thru Comenity. Consumers beware!
Receive calls every hour on the hour. 8:00am this morning. I do not answer any calls and have no contact with said company.
They leave no messages. Will file complaint with FCC.
Legitimate phone call. Commenity Bank is a banking/credit card company used by major retailers and catalog companies. If you have an account with Lane Bryant, woman within, big and tall, Victoria's secret or any of a million other mail order / online shopping credit cards or line of credit they are contacting you regarding a payment or extended line of credit. Many retailers use 3rd party banks to do their credit management including competing retailers such as Walmart and Lowe's who both use or used Sychrony Bank as their actual bank. [Check your statements or backs of credit cards to find out who actually handles your credit line management for your "Walmart "card..it's not walmart.] If you receive a call from this number someone in your household has either applied for credit or has a card from a company this "bank" is linked to. In regards to the call I received on my cellphone, I returned the call only to find out that it was for one of my elderly mothers accounts. When she applied for credit several years ago my cellphone number was given as a secondary contact number. Mom got behind by two months due to hospitalization and they called me. I know the bank because in the past I had made checks out to them for Commenity-Lane Bryant, Commenity-Haband, ect....One surprise thing...at least the customer rep. was not an outsourced "Bobbi Sue or Missy with an extremely thick Indian accent!
