Rcvd SCAM call at 1:56p ET, from an unidentified (Lower Interest) Name using a spoofed number 616-613-2100 asigned to Zeeland, MI. This is a total SCAM call trying to obtain your information. Do Not answer the phone. I too use a Digitone Call Blocker from Digitone Communications, so all unwanted & toll numbers are block so my phone never rings during these unidentified / unwanted calls. This unit allows you to block any area code in whole. This area code is blocked from ringing my personal number without leaving any unwanted message.
Filed online complaint with the FTC and FCC site to help put a stop to these types of unwanted calls. This allows all Federal and State agencies to search and provide what additional information is reported to these government sites to track this Scam

This looks like another phony, computer-generated number from the same group of animals that uses phony numbers from all over the U.S. They even call on Sundays - it figures that these Godless heathens would not be in church on Sunday. The worst thing you could ever do is give them any of your current credit card numbers or information. Don't answer them period. If you want a reduced interest rate on your credit card(s), call your bank, be nice and tell them you are going to drop them and go elsewhere, which might work. You can also try going to other banks in your town and talking to the customer service people in the banks. Suffice to say, despite the fact that the Federal Reserve discount rate has been close to zero for over five years, banks are charging outrageous interest rates, plus they want all of us to pay for their stupidity in relation to the sub-prime mortgage debacle, having to write off billions in bad loans, criminal greed, etc. I would ask everyone to contact their elected reps in DC and demand strengthened DNC laws, to include severe criminal penalties (prison time + fines) for violations, prohibit the use of phone numbers not issued by a legitimate telephone company (common carrier), prohibit calls from any political, charitable, survey, telemarketing, etc. organizations. Donations made to any of these will most likely go into the pockets of the organizers and not for any legitimate purpose. I shut off the landline phones at 7 PM, so any late calls will not disturb the little ones. People who know us can call our cell phones if necessary.
I am so tired of this company, if you push 9 or talk to a person they either say no problem or hang up, then they just pass your number to another call center from another state. If you ignore it, they pass your number to another call center. I hope some day the Government can finally catch these SOB's cause they should go to jail for a very LONG time!!!!
