Robo call from low life scumbag identity thieves who want your credit information so they can steal money.

The newest part of their scam (in a calculated attempt to claim they are not violating the law (they are) is to add you to live conference. Ha ha.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING.

Do you think a copy that calls in violation of robo call prohibition and DNC will really remove your number?

Just another delay before they call you again.

Take action and report them -- https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2

` Got a call from V02231514180043 ad the Phone # showed as 616-613-2100. Didn't answer but came here to verify that it was just another $hit call, from another $hit telemarketer (TM's). Just added them to our $hit list. I think this makes #204.
` If you put your name on the DNC list you will actually get MORE calls from surveys, survey scammers, and Not-for-profit scammers. Telemarketers are actually required to get this list and keep it updated. Supposedly it this so the TM's will know who NOT to call. The loop hole is that this list does NOT apply to callers for survey's, non-profit org.'s, etc. If a TM wants a list of names that is 1) current; 2) a WORKing # ; 3) is an actual persons phone # , not an automated # ; and 4) a # that a REAL person is Likely to answer, then this list is a GOLD MINE (Ka-CHING $)(Ka-CHING $) ! All the TM's have to do is Pose as a survey and ask you a few simple, non-threatening questions and they are now considered legit. THEN they can proceed with their original scam (Ka-CHING $), and they can sell your number to other TM's and scammers as a ' verified ' Good, working, number (Ka-CHING $). It is now worth a lot more money to them even if you did nothing more than say "Hello" (Ka-CHING $).
` If our government, who manages the DNC List and its enforcement, were to eliminate just this one loop-hole alone the TM's and scammers would have a LOT less legit calls and WE would have a lot more clout in court. Do you think this is going to happen though? Not me. The government is more concerned about protecting us from ourselves by legislating our personal behavior than it is in protecting us from the real threat posed by these criminals and terrorists on our lives. Maybe if we all had all the TM and scammers phone calls we get forwarded to our congressmen and senators phones they would see just how annoying and dangerous they REALLY are, and maybe then they would do something about it. ............ Probably not. Our elected officials are too busy sticking their noses in OUR business to actually legislate something constructive with some enforcement bite.
.... and so, the status quo continues because the silent majority chooses to remain inactive.

Where are OUR rights in getting these A_ _ holes to quit calling??? I'm so upset at these people, I wish I knew where they were calling from and their address.  I want to send them the contents of my 7 litter boxes every day.

I received a robocall offering to lower my credit card interest rate. The caller requested my credit card number. I asked the caller what company he was from and at what phone number I could contact him.

The caller said he was from Master Card Member Services and gave me the phone number to Mastercard (1-800-622-7747). I then hung up, and dialed *69 to obtain the number that had called me. That number was 616-613-2100.

I checked the Mastercard website and it states that Mastercard never calls to request credit card numbers, so I called customer service and was asked to report this incident via email to Mastercard at [email protected].

I checked the 616-613-2100 phone number and a number of reports of telemarketing have been ascribed to this number, which apparently is a landline in Zeeland Michigan. The recorded reply at this number says it is Card Services.

Reported it to FCC, the Michigan AG and Mastercard
