Started getting these calls recently. Usually I don't answer calls I don't recognize. They asked for someone with same last name as mine but first name was not. I told them no one by that name lives here. They read my number to me and asked if it was my number. I confirmed it was and they said,"OK, we will remove your number from our list. I am disabled and owe no one money. Even if I did, judges don't garnish Social Security Disability Checks.
Keep calling here asking for someone who doesn't live here. Common last name, and we get dozens of these calls every month. Tell them all the same thing, sorry, you have the wrong number. Then, if/when they call again, I begin with "call # whatever it is" still not here; it is our personal policy to file harassment lawsuits against people who call from the same company over and over again, even after they've been told this is the wrong number." Then I hang up. Have filed 3 suit, and won all 3. So just keep calling, fools.
Wrong answer, sis. This is not a "courtesy call", it's a scam. According to Allstate, the company they "claim" to be working for, they are NOT associated nor authorized to be collecting for them. And, since the other guy is at fault, per the insurance adjusters for both companies, why, there is NO CLAIM they can be collecting for. Scammers. And, no insurance company can get your license suspended; only the MVD or court. Wrong, wrong, wrong and lousy information.
CCSoffices.com calls this office and will not leave a message, just tells me to look at the caller ID for the telephone number and have the appropriate party to call them back, it is a personal issue the guy tells me
