Started getting these calls recently. Usually I don't answer calls I don't recognize. They asked for someone with same last name as mine but first name was not. I told them no one by that name lives here. They read my number to me and asked if it was my number. I confirmed it was and they said,"OK, we will remove your number from our list. I am disabled and owe no one money. Even if I did, judges don't garnish Social Security Disability Checks.
Get calls 3-4 times, twice weekly, they stagger the days, sometimes Tuesdays, Fridays, and then change to different days, including SUNDAY. Have no clue who they are and will NEVER answer calls from them........ what frippen PESTS.
They call in the morning they call on sundays after 8:00 pm. they can hardly be understood. they demand money right now over the phone. they want bank account numbers. they need to be STOPPED
Got 2 calls this morning. Asked to speak to my late father-in-law. Told caller he was deceased. They keep calling back asking for him. Don't know if there is a phone at the cemetery???
So I keep getting these auto-dialer calls and when I pick up - there's no one on the line. So I call back and a guy claims 21st Century Insurance turned over a claim to "CCS Holdings" regarding an auto accident nearly a year ago. Said he needed insurance info. I told him that he should contact 21st Century - they should have all that info. Very suspicious. He kept pushing, but I told him that I would have my insurance company call and he gave 877-690-6000. Refused to give him any info.
If it was legit instead of a fishing expedition - he would have all the info from 21st Century. . . Right?
