Started getting these calls recently. Usually I don't answer calls I don't recognize. They asked for someone with same last name as mine but first name was not. I told them no one by that name lives here. They read my number to me and asked if it was my number. I confirmed it was and they said,"OK, we will remove your number from our list. I am disabled and owe no one money. Even if I did, judges don't garnish Social Security Disability Checks.
I received a call from this number twice tonight. one at 8:34 and the other at 8:53. No one was there. I hung up the first time, but after saying hello twice with the second call i waited a few seconds and then screamed as loud as i could into the phone....so far no more calls lol
Same as the rest accused my dad of being in an auto accident in a different state. Even sent a letter with met life letter head. My dad called the so called Met Life number and explained he does not own a 98 Ford Tempo or was in an accident in Oklahoma. Few weeks latter the 617-581-1049 starts calling non stop. Dad finally answers the phone and they said the claim from met life was turned over to them for collection. They did not have his full name was red flag number one. Unfortunately he gave them his full name but he has been instructed to not talk to these people anymore. He was about to fax them the full identification of the two cars he owns. I stopped that too. We are calling the state of Texas and our attorney. The met life scam line is 937-859-2947, everyone call! They also gave dad a web site, www.ccsoffice.com you go there and access is deigned.
