Started getting these calls recently. Usually I don't answer calls I don't recognize. They asked for someone with same last name as mine but first name was not. I told them no one by that name lives here. They read my number to me and asked if it was my number. I confirmed it was and they said,"OK, we will remove your number from our list. I am disabled and owe no one money. Even if I did, judges don't garnish Social Security Disability Checks.
617-581-1049 keeps calling from 6am trying to collect money that is not owed. claiming that money is owed for a car accident that is dropped by the insurance companies by both parties. never received a bill about anything but a letter stating that it is done. unprofessional people trying to get personal information. how do you figure that but they do not want to give their information: the name of their company, their name, or anything.
that same number called my partner a guy by the name of Timothy. sounded sketchy. do not give personal information! the guy sounded like a total scam. wanted a Claim number.
I just received a call from someone from this number, really creepy. The didn't give me any information about themselves, which threw up a red flag for me and the fact they were calling on Sunday. I can't believe that they called on a Sunday, that isn't when you do business. I don't know how these people are get your information. They knew I had a claim that hasn't been resolved yet, knew the amount but they didn't have the right person involved. They wanted me to pay over the pay, I refused (I told them that I was waiting information from the the company I am dealing with). I am going to be contacting the appropriate party about this situation, this shouldn't be going on and people shouldn't be getting harassed by these people morning, noon, night and Sundays. THIS IS WRONG and something should be done!!!!!
