I am receiving a volume of calls from this number. They divulged an old address of mine and this is perhaps because they are not actually Charter, but rather someone who has acquired Charter records and is trying to solicit credit card information from Charter patrons.
I have blocked this number and will report it to the proper authorities if they can find a workaround.
618-551-5659, CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS. They are calling me daily. They need to stop!!!!! This is annoying and unnecessary. I have asked them to remove me from their list but no luck. I thought there was a law that passed and they are not allowed to call anymore?
I am receiving several calls a day. If I don't answer, it just rings until the answering machine picks up. Then they don't leave a message! They are definitely trying to annoy me! I told them not to call back, I am NOT interested! But they just call and call! Who do I report this co.to? I a disabled and not able to easily get to the phone. These people are making my life very hard. PLEASE stop!!!!!!
Thank you everyone for telling me the number is Charter. They usually do this for a couple of weeks and stop. First they send mail about special offers, then they call, then they show up at the front door. At the front door I tell them I have no tv- I really don't; no phone- my cell phone is my phone, just Internet. They usually don't bother me for a couple of months.
I too have been getting several phone calls per day from this number. The caller says he is from Charter and offers a great deal on the Triple Play. When I agreed to sign up for it I was immediately cut off. I called Charter who said they have no record that I have received a call from them and no services had been added to my package.
It is a scam so please don't give them any personal information
