The caller is selling bible Hebrew language study courses. I know because they called me several times trying to get me to buy the on-line course. Expensive!!!
Yep, the have a Funny way of working this E Teacher, they take money, and they don't reply to emails, when you cancel, they want £259 cancel fee ? Apart from the money, already paid to them..Could I set up something like this? This is legal? I got no lessons, I have gone right off on Line Rip offs! When is the law going to work for us the people?
I have been a member of the eteacher Hebrew class for months now and the only reason they call me is if I have had tech issues or need to contact my instructor. I have not had any issue with them taking money from my account, in fact they told me if I keep having technical issues they will refund my money....all of it! I do not see this as a scam! Not sure what is going on,unless someone has signed up for a class, or made inquiry about learning a language. You had to have given out your information in order for them to have it at this point.
Yes this number is from eteacher. I am wanting to learn Hebrew & responded to an ad sent by another website. Am a little upset to get phone call when all I want to know at this point is the details - such as cost, time involved, etc. and wanted to see in black & white print so can think about then talk to a person.
I filled out an online form to learn Hebrew because I am planning to take a trip to Israel and that is the number that called me. So, I think they only way they can get your number is from filling out the online form for inquiring about their services.
I don't think it is a scam just like with anything else just read the fine print and always proceed with caution.
I get calls from germany - 0049 - haven't answered ... have no contacts there since at least 15 - 20 years , and as they don't use my answering machine to leave a message I didn't call them back... Have a nice day !
