The caller is selling bible Hebrew language study courses. I know because they called me several times trying to get me to buy the on-line course. Expensive!!!
this number called me at 12:05pm and I answered. It sounded like they greeted me with a Middle Eastern language, I told them wrong number and they said ok, and hung up
I received a call from this caller at 9:25 AM Sunday. I actually tried to answer it, thinking only a relative or friend would call me so early on a Sunday. But by the time I clicked my phone on, whoever was calling turned his/her phone off, and left no message. While still handling my phone and trying to investigate the call via Google, I accidentally redialed the unknown # and heard what might have been an automated message requesting that I stay on the line. At that point I just hung up, concluding, along with others who have answered this call, that it is apparently a scam. How does one stop these scammers?
You're right Joe, it is for eteacher. I am a customer of theirs so I know it's a legit call. If you take an online language course, like I did, it's their customer service number calling to set up a class or see if you're still interested in taking a course.
agree it would be helpful if this number would be identified with eteacher. Technical issues still patchy from this company but the call backs often occur days after a problem is reported. The program is based in Israel, at least the Hebrew instruction is there.
