The caller is selling bible Hebrew language study courses. I know because they called me several times trying to get me to buy the on-line course. Expensive!!!
answered this call in response to an add in reputable magazine and signed up for a language course and had my bank account drained of all funds....have reported it as fraud and can not make contact with anyone at the number supplied or by email...just get music at their end...DO NOT BE DECEIVED it is a BIG SCAM
I got a call from this number this morning at 8:20 am and 8:25 am but I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I did inquire last week on-line about a Hebrew language learning course so it was probably them. Thanks for clearing it up. I can go ahead and answer the call now.
I too am receiving these calls at random times during the day and night. I do not know anybody in NY and no reason for them to call me. I do not answer the phone, the number hangs up once the voice mail comes on.
Is this spam?? are they collecting phone numbers for spam?? ANYBODY KNOW?
I had a similar number calling me that turned out to be hackers trying to get phone #'s so they could make long distance, expensive calls. WATCH OUT EVERYBODY!!
