The caller is selling bible Hebrew language study courses. I know because they called me several times trying to get me to buy the on-line course. Expensive!!!
I agree with Ceeme! It is a huge scam. I cancelled my class with them within two hours of signing up for a Hebrew class. Their window of time for 100% refund is 24 hours. When I spoke with someone over the phone about cancelling it they said that they would be sending me an email confirming my cancellation and that a representative would be calling me within the next 3 days. They called but they called at odd times. When I tried to call back I got people who would only take a message and again tell me that a representative would be calling me about the matter. When I try to talk to the anyone they don't know anything about my account and cannot help me. Why is that? So it's been a week and I still haven't received a refund. I reported them to my back. We are waiting for the refund. If I don't get it soon I will have to file papers with the bank and hopefully get my money back that way. The point is they are operating in a very suspicious manner. The are nearly unreachable. If you look them up online and try to find out whether or not they are reputable you will only find reviews written by them. You will find little to nothing negative about them. That's odd considering you can search anything else and find a wide range of reviews. It's a total scam as far as I'm concerned.
Oh wow!!! This all sounds familiar! I cancelled almost immediately but I'm starting to wonder what they are going to do to me. Did they get all of your information? They never took down my full name, which I thought was weird. When I asked the representative if he needed the full name on the card he told me no. I also had to put a stop on my account and get a new debit card. They really aren't a good business.
This is an OK number. It belongs to eteacher, a service ppl sign up for to learn foreign languages. I am a member and taking Hebrew Classes. The courses are online or virtual class room settings. The Hebrew teachers of my class live in Jerusalem, Israel. Hope this Helps
Well... After reading about other people's experiences, Specifically, how their BANK ACCOUNTS were Totally DRAINED of FUNDS, I would advise EXTREME CAUTION !!!! This has not happened to me, YET... From now on I will be extremely cautious about future classes. One point of why my bank account may not have been affected, my Debit card was only one day from being expired, so it may not have worked for them. I was only charged the amount for the current course I am taking.
I will watch my bank account closely and Hope I am NOT taken advantage of.
