There is no Steve Knox.  It's all a big scam to scare money out of you.  Originates in India or Pakistan.  Ignore the calls and block them.

report them:

http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening or oppressive language used in order to collect a civil debt is a violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.)

Also contact your local attorney general

I got a call from this # with similar legal claims as above. Sounded phishy right away so I played along to see how much of my info they had.
I first told them I had no idea what they were talking about so the first lady read me an 'affidavit'. The next guy in the 'arbitration' dept  she transferred me to said he was surprised she read the affidavit to me because she wasn't legally supposed to. I NEVER TOLD HIM SHE READ IT! He also told me they had tried 2 times to contact me via email as part of a reasonable effort to contact me before suing. The next guy he transfered me to told me they never communicate via e-mail, only hard copy. Then, in order to legally qualify settling out of court, they asked if I had ever been 'taken' for any violations in the past. Can a judge please tell me what "taken" is? Is that some form of legal kidnapping? It was clear to me they had a system they were trying to work and so I  worked their system.
They wouldn't give any specifics about this fictional company that I owed like original acct balance, original acct owner, original acct closing date, when communications were sent, or any way at all to verify their legitimacy, not even a USCA website. They claim USCA is a large parent company over many lending businesses, yet they don't even have a website??
The only specifics they had were my own info they had somehow hacked. Previous full address, prior bank routing #, previous place of employment, and email addrss.
Of course, I was threatened with being served with legal papers tomorrow. Then today. Then it switched back tomorrow. Now they called and I think it's back to today again.
Do not give or confirm any onfo. If they were legitimate,  they would send papers, and in far more advanced time than the day before. Ask for specifics about the original acct, their company, and the court in which the lawsuit will be filed. They might put you down, at which point you can forgive them and hang up.

Received call, voice mail, at 8:36am today, 1/14/2016, from a male, stated the very second I received this, he needed for me to return his call right away.  His phone #347-342-0307.  If he does not received any kind of responses from my side, then I will be the only one responsible for legal consequences, as this situation is forced on me.  Good bye and may God bless you.  First, this man did not leave his name or the name of the company.  He did not even ask for me by my name.  The phone number that the rude person gave me is #646-604-3870 a lot differ than what they called on.
