Saw number, didn't recognize it, picked up & immediately hung up. Can't be bothered asking anyone to stop calling, it seems to generate more calls. : (
Called several more times and decided to pick up. Selling a security system. Asked lady who does their central monitoring and would not tell me, said I had to answer qualifying questions first. Asked her why in the hell would I give out personal information to a company that won't even tell me who they are and make illegal phone calls. She claimed they would after I was approved and was transferred to a specialist. Told her to go ahead and then transfer me now cause I'm not answering her. Got some clicks like she was trying to do something, sounded like I did make it to some transfer system, but another 10 seconds later simply got disconnected.
These scammers never tell you that they might give you a "free" system but then charge you big time for the monitoring of such system. Many monitoring services essentially promote these crooks by having referral programs to bring in customers and the result is these sleezy telemarkers breaking the law.
